Whenever I open Internet Explorer I get an ad banner above my default page. Resetting the default page doesn't cure the problem. I find it most annoying. How do I get rid of it?
I can only assume that the ad banner is being displayed by the default page you are using. You could try choosing a different default page. Alternatively you could try using a program that removes ad banners such as Adfree, which you can get from www.simtel.net/pub/win95/webbrows/adfree20.zip.
